    My favorite (and only) place to buy Filipino food. The chicken adobo is amazing, and I drive from Va Beach to Norfolk just to order it...yummy!

    Filipino food and the setting here is quality. Arrived at six, it was not packed. I look forward to going back again. The place has a cool atmosphere.

    Great food, but they could definitely use organization. They advise you to call ahead to reserve your food, but when you get there, they’re sold out. Instead of them making the plate, they wait for you to get there. Also, they don’t make enough of their popular dishes. I would advise getting there when they first open.

    This little place by far as some of the BEST Filipino food I've had in Tidewater. That Adobo was so good, and CHEAP. Friendly crew. I'll be back for sure.

    The restaurant looks humble, but it is the best place in the Tidewater Area for freshly-prepared Filipino food. Great variety of inexpensive, but high quality, dishes. I've always brought friends from out of town to this restaurant and Maymar has never disappointed. The staff is super friendly.
